Install KACE Cloud Agent for Windows

KACE Cloud Agent is an app that facilitates patching and custom installations of EXE files. You can add it to the Apps Library although this happens automatically, when a patch filter detects that one or more managed devices requires patching.

NOTE: Patch management requires a separate KACE Cloud Secure license. To obtain a KACE Cloud Secure license, contact KACE Cloud Sales. A free 14-day KACE Cloud Secure trial license is available and can be started directly from KACE Cloud. The KACE Cloud Agent for Windows does not require a KACE Cloud Secure license. To add the KACE Cloud Agent for Windows to the Apps Library:

1. Go to Settings in top navigation.
2. In left navigation, select Windows Settings > KACE Cloud Agent.

   If the KACE Cloud Agent is not already added to the Library, the following view appears:

   

3. Click Add KACE Cloud Agent to Library.

   The view refreshes, indicating that the KACE Cloud Agent app is added to the Library.

   

4. To verify that the agent app is added to the Library, click View in App Library.
5. In the Apps Library view that appears, look for the KACE Cloud Agent app.
